Southern Prime is a can't miss dining experience in Southern Pines. The ambiance is great, and the staff is ready to make your experience a pleasure. I've experienced just about every entree they offer as well as several of the special offers, and I've never had anything but positively delicious meals. For the fish lovers, I highly recommend the salmon. For the beef lovers, you can't go wrong with any of the steaks. Bar service is quick, and food comes out at a very reasonable clip.

Steaks are always outstanding, top notch service and superb wine list. This is a traditional steakhouse restaurant leaning on the high end experience.

This was a great food experience. The ragons are amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection. The French onion soup was perfect as well. The service was slightly off. The atmosphere is incredible and on point

Stopped for cocktails and decided have a few appetizers. The bar is very nice with good seating and warm ambiance. The bartender Kelly, was friendly and efficient. The drinks were good. We ordered a few snacks which were ok. The artisanal cheese board was good, artisanal may be an exaggeration. But a nice variety of cheese and meats. The lobster Mac and cheese was like soup.The bartender noticed after it sat and did offer to get something else. Which we declined. Anyway great place for drinks and next time we will try some of the good items they had on the menu.

Highly recommend this steakhouse! We were in town for a work conference and it happened to fall on our anniversary week. A local told us to try this place, so we did. We made a reservation through Open Table. When we arrived, the hostess knew it was our anniversary and mentioned it upon arrival which I thought was thoughtful. Then our table had heart confetti sprinkled on top. All the staff said hello and was very friendly and kind. My husband and I both ordered steaks, which were amazing! I had to order a side of lobster Mac n cheese, and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant surprised us with a free lava cake for desert AND took our picture and printed it as a souvenir! We were blown away! We will always remember this dinner and will be back if we are ever in this area again. Thank you Southern Prime for going above and beyond to making our anniversary dinner perfect!

Wonderful place to go for a celebratory dinner or occasion. From the moment you walk in the door the staff is always so welcoming & willing to go above and beyond to accommodate your needs, whatever they may be. Greg is the best and always makes sure that your experience is everything it should be.

We reserved a table here for my boyfriend's birthday. Overall we had an excellent experience. The 3 hostesses at the door were kind and welcoming and sat us right away. Our server- Andy was awesome and had perfect timing and anticipated our needs. We both had the house martini with blue cheese olives.. fantastic martini. Food wise I was overall good.. we had the ahi tuna to start.. my boyfriend was a fan. I had the filet mignon which was SO tasty and my boyfriend had the NY strip which he also praised. As for sides, I thought they were just okay. Basic bake potato, green beans were just meh. I was looking forward to the cream spinach but was not overly impressed. My bf's Cheesy grits were just okay to me but he liked them. Overall we'd say we would return for a nice steak again.
